Valentine’s Heart Willow Wreath tutorial on thecardswedrew.com

What You Need:
*Willow Wreath
*Scrapbook paper (be careful of the thickness you choose to avoid my issue)
*Punched hearts (you can buy scrap-booking heart punches or use a cutting machine like the Silhouette or Cricut
*Hot Glue
*Ribbon

I started by getting all of my hearts prepared on my Silhouette. If I hadn't already been to Joann's twice today, I would have gotten some other paper with different colors on it, but since I couldn't go back I went with mono-chromatic pink on the whole wreath.

when my hearts were ready, I simply glued them with hot glue all over my wreath. Then I used some pink ribbon I had on hand to tie it at the top with.

Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse:

This comes from the site Thecardswedrew.com  It Looked so good i had to pass it on!

Valentine’s Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse

1 package of cream cheese (8 oz size)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 (8 oz) container of Cool Whip
1 package of strawberry jello mix
strawberry sundae topping (optional)

Directions

Start by mixing cream cheese in a bowl until it’s smooth. Add the powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla, and beat until creamy. Add Cool Whip to your mixture and beat until mixed together.
Divide the cheesecake mix into two bowls and set one aside. Add small amount of strawberry jello mix to one of the bowls and mix until a light pink color (add more jello powder to taste if needed).
Get a small bowl or cup and either pipe or spoon the mousse into the bowl. If you so choose, you can layer the vanilla and strawberry mousse with strawberry ice cream topping or you can leave it without
do chocolate hearts, added chocolate topping, or whatever your heart desires.

Paper Heart Garland

Valentines Day Heart Garland

Materials

Scrap paper. You can use book pages, junk mail, or any other scrap paper that you like!

Scissors
Stapler
Embroidery thread and a needle
Twine
Ribbon

Directions

Cut out 3 strips of paper that are 1/2" wide in varying lengths. Try 9", 10" and 11" to start.
Fold each piece in half.
Take the 9" strip, and nestle it inside of the folded 10" strip, then nestle both of those inside the 11" strip.
Hold the bottoms of the paper together in one hand, and use your other hand to gently press down on the paper where it's creased. You want to work the creases in between your fingers that are holding the bottom of the paper.
Garb your stapler, and put one staple through all of that paper to secure your heart in place.
Tie a knot in one end of a piece of embroidery thread, then use the needle to work it up through the staple, leaving you with a little tail coming out of the top of your heart.
Tie the tail to the twine, and tie a pretty bow on top where it connects, if you like.
Repeat steps 1-7 to create as many hearts as you like for your garland!

Orgami Ring for Valentines Day

first image

Start with one piece of origami

paper.
Place it color-side down.
Fold in half, then unfold.

Turn and repeat. You should now

have a "+" in your paper.

Fold each side to the center. It will

look like doors being closed.
Unfold. Your piece should look like

Take the edge and fold it to the

first fold you made before
Do the same with the opposite

edge

Fold one edge over to the second

crease from the opposite edge

Repeat with the opposite egde.
The outcome will be the paper

being divided equally.

With the colored side up, fold back

the top segment

Fold the top left point to the center

of the paper, similar to an airplane
Thumb Image 2

Repeat on the other side

Turn over
You are going to fold down on the

line shown
Fold down

Turn over
Fold point back
Repeat on other side

Unfold both sides

fold. Pull open the folded piece and Thumb Image 2

push upwards
Repeat on both sides

Fold point down toward center

Repeat on both sides

Fold up bottom fold
Fold up again .
One last time .

Turn over
Now you are going to make it into

a ring. The small tab is where you

will insert the other end of paper

I find this part to be a challenge.

Just keep rolling and working the

paper until it looks like standard image 1
You've done it!
